i went to vegas.
i gambled.
$3
but i'll have you know i was up .85 cents in the beginning.
i should have cashed out.
& then i got a call from my friend isaac @ home.

& this is the scene that entered my mind.
i can't even describe to you the feeling of panic when you hear these are outside your house.
since it sounded like everything was okay on the phone Isaac assumed everything was alright & started talking about other things but I, of course, wanted to know what happened. I asked if he knew and he said, "Well why don't you just look out your window." Panicked, I said, "Issac I'm in Vegas." "Oh..." The phone call to my house was exceptionally long but to my great joy my mom answered the phone. I bet you're all wondering what happened next... phew. My family was fine.
Unfortunately a good brother in our ward riding his bike hit into the back of our car that was parked on the side of the road. We don't know how or why since no one was there to witness the accident but he didn't look too good. He was also suffering from 10 Second Tom syndrome (if you've seen 50 First Dates, his memory erased about every 10 seconds). Since its not my accident, I won't share any more details but he is stable & working on recovery. Please keep him in your prayers.
although I'm very sad for this dear family, I couldn't help but be reminded of how blessed my family is & how grateful I am for it.
