hello there.
hey, do you remember me? its true, it's been a while. i have returned from serving a mission (over two years ago in fact). i'm graduating this spring with my bachelors degree (and two minors if i might add). and weighing most heavily in my importance bucket-- applying to optometry school!
going into the medical field has been my plan for a while now. but between you and me... i guess i never really thought passed college graduation.
i'm a Mormon. perhaps you've heard of them. if you haven't, check it out --> mormon! just to clear up the "do Mormons have horns?" "do Mormon's believe in the Bible?" and my all time favorite, "aren't Mormon's polygamist?". These questions and more can be answered from the link mentioned previously.
a return to blogdom means:
- i want to help other (possibly Mormon) women who are in the middle of the optometry (or other medical field) application process
- i'm not an english major, feel free to read my comings and goings but do not expect to read beautifully tailored, Victor-Hugo-like-narratives. if you're looking for that i highly recommend Les Miserables. a personal favorite.
- and lastly, i do love my religion. and i find "blogging" an excellent way to share it and the challenges i've faced in my personal journey towards becoming an optometrist and becoming a mother. (no, i'm not married- i'm not dating anyone- i'm suuuper single) but becoming a mother is more of a divine destiny thing, something much bigger than myself. so, can i do it? can i become a mother one day and an optometrist? i think yes. i'll try to help any other Mormon girl wondering the same thing.
stay tuned.
I'm glad your back! your print is difficult to see though.
